Get to Know Langford
I began investing in real estate in 2017 when I started building a small portfolio of rentals. In 2020 I began working with real estate investors to held fund their deals using private capital. I have been working in private lending ever since funding deals all over the state of Florida.
Having the wrong business partners/ team. Whether it is from unreliable capital partners or contractors not doing a good job, it is extremely important to surround yourself with the right team.
Family is my motivation. More specifically my son and daughter are my number one motivation. Second to my family my motivation is my word. When I say something it is extremely important for me to do everything in my power to follow through.
I grew up in Tampa, Florida and my parents always had a real estate portfolio. Once I found myself in a financial position to enter into real estate investing, I jumped at the opportunity. I just wish I would have bought more properties in 2017 as I was getting started.
I spend most of my free time with my wife and kids. We enjoy watching them participate in soccer, softball, and tball. In between games and practices, we enjoy taking the boat out to the sandbar and going to the beach. I also greatly enjoy taking my kids fishing. My son is absolutely hooked. On my own, I enjoy to get away for an hour here or there to go surfing.
I have spent most of my free time and all of my money during my 20’s chasing waves all over the world. I have been to Central America more times than I can remember exploring Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Nicaragua. I have spent a month chasing waves in Mexico. I have been to Hawaii and California multiple times to surf. I even broke my leg in Indonesia on a surf trip.
