I’ve been in the lending space on and off since 2005. I’ve done subprime, conventional, and private lending throughout my career.

Do your own research and make sure you know the market that you’re going into. Look up comps and compare that with your cost basis – it’s important to know your profit margin and your bottom line. Understand the financing part and compare this with your liquidity. Find the right partners (partner up with an experienced GC/builder and capital partners/lenders who can be a trusted advisor). If this is your first venture, explore the possibilities of doing a joint venture with an experienced investor to mitigate risks or ask fellow investors for insights and help. Never stop learning. This is an ongoing process and changes happen daily.

Overpromising and underdelivering. Whatever side of the transaction that you’re on (buyer, seller, realtor, title, insurance, or lender) – you will put every person in a tough spot if you overpromise. It’s better to be upfront and honest from the beginning. Communication is key.

Family, growth, and success. I love challenging myself and pushing my goals to the next level. The more I grow, the more I can share with my family, friends, and clients.

I’ve lived in Houston 10 years, Atlanta 11 years and the Philippines up until college. I get my business mainly from my existing clients that I’ve formed relationships with over the year, brokers, and referral partners. I also am part of multiple REIN social media groups. I prospect a ton on social media, and love getting referrals from friends and clients.

I’m a big foodie and I’m a wine enthusiast. I love to eat and explore new options constantly. I spend a lot of time with my husband and a solid circle of friends.
